Village

In each historical period it was common that life in the village tried to approach life in towns in a certain way. Most often, the similarity is reflected in the spheres of the living standard and community facilities but also of entertainment and culture. Community theatre societies functioned and still exist in the country. This specific type of entertainment is a purely leisure-time activity aimed at amusing all the participants – the spectators as well as the actors themselves. Cultural activity of this kind has a long tradition in Trstěnice and therefore deserves due support and attention.
